For many years we had our business on Queen Street, and recently moved west to fashion-forward Liberty Village. We love hunting out and working with vintage fabrics, and are proud of our reputation for bringing a modern twist to the timeless chic of the 20s and 30s. Toronto Life once awarded us the best “Non Pouffe!” award in recognition of our body-skimming bias-cut creations with an elegant vintage flavour. For 2014, we still offer bias chic, but we’re also loving fuller skirts with the romance of lace and tulle. Sometimes, we can even add pockets! Our customers have always commented on our personal service, and we do like to spoil you with unrushed by-appointment fittings in a relaxed atmosphere with no hard sell, just a promise to create every inch of your once-in-a lifetime dress just for you. Lana is a knowledgeable and wise guide to dressing the bride. Our aim is to make buying your dress an enjoyable experience you will never forget. Like most shops, we do expect to have six to eight months lead time, (we want you to know you have your dream dress well in advance of your wedding), however, unlike most shops, it is possible for us to have you at your groom’s side in as little as three weeks from the day you walk into the salon. So if you’re a runaway bride, a sudden wedding or you just forgot to get the dress! we can do it. None of our gowns are made offshore. Brides can select from our rack of sample creations, or let us create your one-of-a-kind dream dress. We do it all here in Liberty Village, from the drawings and fabric selections with Lana, to the fittings with our seamstress. All fittings are, of course, included in the price. We are couture designers, inspired by the past and the future, we do not take our cues from Reality TV, you are our only muse. We offer alternative fashion that reflects your personality, your dreams, and most importantly, your body.
